Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Rolls
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Without separating the rolls, slice them in half horizontally to create a top and bottom layer. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Assemble the Sliders
Layer the roast beef evenly over the bottom rolls. Arrange the slices of provolone cheese on top of the roast beef, ensuring full coverage. Place the top layer of rolls over the cheese.
Step 3: Make the Butter Mixture
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme. This mixture will add flavor and help create a golden, buttery crust.
Step 4: Brush and Bake
Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls, ensuring every roll is coated. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
Step 5: Prepare the Au Jus
While the sliders bake, prepare the dipping sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6: Serve
Remove the sliders from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before slicing into individual sandwiches. Serve warm with a side of au jus for dipping. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color, if desired.
