  • Yield: 8 rolls 1x

Ingredients

Scale

For the Rolls:

  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional Toppings:

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for brushing)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 2: Prepare the Chicken Filling

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined and the chicken is evenly coated in the creamy mixture.

Step 3: Assemble the Crescent Rolls

  1. Open the crescent roll can and separate the dough into 8 triangles.
  2. Place a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
  3. Gently roll up each crescent roll, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides to seal the filling.
  4. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 4: Add Toppings (Optional)

  1. Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with melted butter for a golden finish.
  2. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the rolls for extra flavor.

Step 5: Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and fully cooked.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

Remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as ranch dressing or marinara.
